Genesis NFT Holders

All holders of Irys Genesis NFTs are automatically eligible. The Genesis collection recognized the 999 people who contributed consistently in a variety of different ways during our pre-mainnet period.

Discord & Telegram Community Members

Members who climbed to the highest levels of recognition through sustained participation, helpful contributions, and consistent community building.

Testnet Users

Participants who stress-tested our ecosystem products and in-house applications, provided constructive feedback on how to improve, and helped identify issues during development.

Vibe Coders

Community developers who actively learned about Irys while teaching themselves to build on the platform. Specifically, those who built tools that proved useful to other community members.

Kaito Leaderboard Participants

The top 1,000 most active participants on both the global Kaito leaderboard and the Irys regional leaderboard who demonstrated sustained engagement over the campaign period.

These categories serve as a guide. Final allocations vary based on depth and consistency of contribution across these areas, and are reflected in the claim portal results.

Anti-Sybil Measures

At Irys, our aim with token distribution was always focused on rewarding genuine, long-term contributors. To protect the distribution, we used a layered process:

Pattern Analysis

We ran algorithms to identify suspicious behavioral patterns such as accounts with identical activity timing, repetitive low-value actions, coordinated bulk behavior, and other indicators of automation or sybil attacks.

Manual Review

Every flagged pattern was manually reviewed. We spent months verifying accounts across all categories, cross-referencing activity patterns, checking for multi-account indicators, and validating that contributions came from real individuals rather than automated systems or coordinated farming operations.

Consistency Verification

We looked for evidence that multiple wallets or accounts belonged to the same person. Legitimate users with contributions across different platforms were evaluated holistically. sybil clusters attempting to game the system through fake identities were filtered out.

Long-Term Signals

Sustained involvement, verified value provided to the community, provable identity consistency across channels, and genuine ecosystem engagement carried the most weight.

Proof of Humanity

As a final verification layer, eligible users complete a face scan during the claim process. Each user can verify only once and duplicates are automatically prevented through uniqueness checks. This ensures one person, one allocation.

The key pattern amongst our anti-sybil measures is that there was a substantial amount of manual, human work put into making sure we get this right. The result is an allocation list that represents our best effort to reward authentic contributors while filtering out gaming attempts. The process was long, time-intensive, and designed to ensure this distribution goes to people who will continue contributing as Irys matures both as a product and a community.

Rewards participation is subject to eligibility, technical, and legal limitations and is not available to users located in, residents of, or entities organized under the laws of the United States or any other jurisdiction where participation would be unlawful or require registration or authorization; access may be geoblocked for IP addresses believed to be from such jurisdictions, and you are solely responsible for ensuring that your participation is in compliance with the Terms. Final eligibility and listing criteria (including any qualifying actions, snapshots, allocation methodology, and disqualification grounds), as well as the claim process (including timing, steps, and technical requirements), will be announced separately prior to the opening of the claim period and remain subject to change.
